Integrated logistics resides at the world’s most important intersections, where the flow of goods creates an effective link between carriers. Our value-added services ensure the flow of goods continues seamlessly and supply chains stay lean and optimized for success.
Project Description
Within the international planning department day to day business volume and demand are fluctuating. It is a big challenge to plan as efficient as possible. Based on given circumstances it’s only known shortly before actual execution what volume is available and what demand is related to that. To be more efficient in demand planning it’s needed to have volumes forecasted so they are available much earlier. Having volumes and respective demand earlier available will lead to less empty milage, less CO2 emission, less costs, etc.
