Improved Business Processes Using Expiration Dates – Jumbo

Jumbo is interested in understanding the consequences when the visibility of expiration dates in the stores increases. Therefore, this project studies the outcomes of scenarios with different levels of visibility. These outcomes include the reduction in food waste, the financial benefits or investments, and the changes required in the operational processes in both the DC’s and the stores.
