Business and Sustainability – Bausch

Bausch stores massive amount of data of inventory and has in place action plans once inventory is at risk of expiry. What is missing is a thorough root-cause analysis to understand the reasons for obsolete inventory and to put in place corrective actions.

This project focuses on an obsolete inventory root-cause analysis based on existing data and improvement proposals by working out a standard root-cause tree based on the historical drivers. Additionally in order to create awareness and reason for change, a model is worked out to report CO2 and to make it an integral part of our Obsolescence reporting.
