Delivery Reliability in Supply Chains – ORTEC

Companies often still use single-echelon inventory strategies to determine their stock levels. Optimizing a supply chain as a whole can help companies in the supply chain to lower their inventory costs compared to local single-stockpoint optimization. In order to analyze multi-echelon inventory policies, this project aims to develop a simulation tool that can analyze the delivery reliability in multi-echelon supply chain networks.
