The Annual Conference on the 17th of September was closed by the ESCF Student Award 2023-2024 ceremony. Brian Willems won the fourth edition of the ESCF Student Awards with his thesis “The Truck and Container Problem with Intermodal Delivery Options” conducted at Van den Bosch. - Joost van der Haar for his thesis “Industrializing Deep Reinforcement Learning for ASML’s Service Network“
- Robin van Hoorn for his thesis “On the Acceptance, Adoption, and Utility of Synthetic Data for Healthcare Innovation” conducted at Philips
- Bibi de Jong for her thesis “Long-term Supply Chain Planning in the Semiconductor Industry using Deep Reinforcement Learning” conducted at NXP Semiconductors
- Jasper Oostvogel for his thesis “Interpretable Deep Learning for Time Series Forecasting: A Case Study in the Semiconductor Industry” conducted at NXP Semiconductors

The most extraordinary Master Student talents from the Eindhoven University of Technology use the finest academic knowledge to help affiliated ESCF members and enrich the supply chain knowledge. ESCF members can submit project proposals, assisted by the ESCF. These will be circulated via our talent pool, the ESCF student community. Graduating students rated 9 or higher at ESCF companies make a chance to win the ESCF Student Award.
