The implementation of value-based pricing
Servitization allows companies to get closer with their customers by offering products as a service. During the workshop, we will discuss organizational decision-making on how to set prices for service offerings (e.g., what value is being offered to customers and how much customers are willing to pay). Moreover, we will take an internal perspective and discuss the integration between product-focused departments (especially purchasing) and service-focused departments (e.g., sales and marketing who focus on the end-user). Together, these discussions will foster critical thinking on the implementation process of value-based pricing. Thermo Fisher and Moba will share their experiences with implementing value-based pricing and we will learn more about how companies can break traditional silos to enable the servitization transition.
