Production planning can it be improved by using digital twins, practice and theory.
Leveraging Digital Twin technology to improve the value chain
Specifically, we will discuss how digital twins can be used upstream in improving production planning and downstream in improving servitization strategies/business models to create value for and with customers. Companies can leverage digital twins in a way that provides significant value: less waste, stable quality, higher throughput, shorter times to market, improved customer insights. It is very challenging, however, to capture this potential value as ITEC and Nexperia will share in this meeting. You will be challenged to think with us about how to circumvent the main obstacles.
