Trinseo is a leading global manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber. Our technology is used by customers in industries such as home appliances, automotive, building & construction, carpet, consumer electronics, consumer goods, electrical & lighting, medical, packaging, paper & paperboard, rubber goods and tires.

Trinseo was formed in August 2009 when Dow Chemical Company combined several of its businesses. June 2010, Bain Capital purchased the newly formed company for $1.63 billion, with Dow Chemical retaining a 7.5% stake. Bain Capital is an American alternative asset management and financial services company based in Boston, managing approximately $66 billion of investor capital.

Trinseo is headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Its European Supply Chain organization is located in the Netherlands, Germany and our European headquarter in Switzerland.
