The 21st century is posing fundamentally new challenges to globally operating companies. While Europe is putting its population pyramid upside down, Africa’s population is exploding. The transition towards renewal energy upsets the business ecosystem. Industry 4.0 requires new skills, tools, and offers opportunities for new business models. These developments will affect the supply chain function. During this AFM we provide various views on the challenges to be faced when preparing the supply chain function for the decade to come. We invite trend watchers with different perspectives to stimulate discussion and ensure takeaways that are handson to lead the changes needed.
